Who are My Veteran Claim?

My Veteran Claim (MVC) is a veteran-led initiative established to support former Service personnel who are living with the lasting impact of their military service. For many veterans, injuries sustained in uniform do not end when service does. Conditions such as noise-induced hearing loss, cold injuries, and other service-related harm often surface years later, leaving individuals to navigate a complex and unfamiliar system on their own. MVC exists to ensure that no veteran has to do that alone.

At its core, MVC is built on a simple but uncompromising principle: when we encounter a veteran in need, we do not walk past. Our work is grounded in the values that most veterans recognise instinctively: integrity, honesty, trust, and accountability. We provide clear, plain-spoken guidance, free from pressure or jargon, allowing veterans to properly understand their options are and make informed decisions at their own pace.

What makes MVC Different?

MVC is led and guided by veterans who understand military culture, service life, and the reluctance many feel about seeking help or making a claim. That understanding shapes everything we do. Our engagement is veteran-to-veteran, not transactional, and always rooted in respect for service. We take the time to listen, to explain, and to support, recognising that every individual’s experience of service, and injury, is different.

Our role is to help veterans understand whether their injury or condition may be connected to their service, to explain the relevant processes clearly and honestly, and to support them throughout that journey should they choose to proceed. We do not offer false promises, and we do not push people into decisions. Our focus is clarity, fairness, and dignity.

This partnership with HR4K reflects a mutual commitment to putting veterans first, to strengthening community support, and to ensuring that those who served are not left carrying the cost of that service alone.
