HR4K: Connecting Veterans and Service Members

At HR4K, we believe in the power of community and the importance of sharing experiences. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment where you can talk openly, enjoy a warm drink, and network with fellow service members and veterans.

What We Offer:

• A Safe Space: Although our space can be a bit chilly
unless you’re sitting by the fire, it is a comfortable setting where you can share your thoughts and experiences without judgment.

• Networking Opportunities: Connect with others who understand your journey and leverage these connections for employment opportunities.

• Support Resources: Discover a range of support services available to military and veteran communities, from mental health resources to employment assistance.

Saturday + Sunday 10am - 3pm

Recently, Zoe Bryant had the opportunity to meet with Rebecca Fullbrook, the South & West Health and Wellbeing Team Lead.

Rebecca has been tirelessly working over the last 12 months to make services more accessible for the veteran community. She emphasised the importance of Veterans registering with a GP surgery and informing them of your service. This step allows surgeries to provide tailored advice on accessing crucial services, including:

• Onward referrals for service-related physical and mental health issues to specialist sectors

• Assistance with finance, employment, and housing

• Mental health support for non-service related issues

• Specialist support for those at risk of entering or already involved with the justice system
