The Patrol Thorn is a 4.75" long blade with 2" cutting edge made from 3mm thick steel with a scandi grind for great carving and cutting control and is a great blade for food preparation or wet weather or field dressing.
Very tough but is still easy to sharpen as well as holding a great edge. These have been heat treated including a Cryo treatment to get the very best from the steel.
It has a very simple skeletonised handle which makes it a very light and comfortable, with a three finger style, deep finger choil and a simple blood knot at the end of the handle made from paracord to give extra length to the handle without adding bulk. The whole profile of the handle and spine has been rounded to make it smooth and comfortable in the hand.
